I promised I wouldn't post any homework from my summer art classes, but some of it is freaking awesome, so I'm sorry, but it's going on.

So, sat at home with some of the awesomest comic books known to man, and I don't decide to read them, noooo, I have to paint them.

There were a few paintings before this, but, frankly, they sucked.

Flight Volume 2, and awesome short story comic anthology.

And Blankets, the coolest autobio comic known to man.

Apparently only the first volume of flight has ever been scanned, so I may just have to buy the other ones. Oh, I decided to check out Time's top ten graphic novels of all time, and hey, look at that, Blankets is there! But wait, there's more! Watchmen is there too! So is The Dark Knight Returns. I don't know if you've read the latter, but you should.

You will love it. It's basically about Batman returnoing fifty years after his retirement. It is written by Frank Miller, one of the best comic book writers of his time. He's kind of lost it recently, though.
